Mit 2.6.18.1 funktioniert auch der externe Lautsprecher. Die Mixereinstellungen sind etwas mager, ein Regler für den PC Speaker existiert z.B. nicht.

== Grafik und 3D ==
 Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
3D geht mit Xorg 7.0.22 aus Etch, die vorherige Version hat nicht funktioniert. Im Kernel braucht es support für den i915 Grafikchipsatz. Der externe VGA Ausgang wurde von mir noch nicht getestet. Dual Head e.t.c. sollte möglich sein.

Auf meinem MacBook (gleicher Grafikchip) funktioniert Dualhead mittels MergeFB bestens.
Leider ist es nötig die Kiste (oder X?) neu zu starten wenn man zwischen Singlehead und Dualhead wechseln will. Wann implementiert mal jemand das dynamische Attachen/Detachen von Screens in Xorg? --[[User:Seto|Seto]] 12:28, 30 January 2007 (CET)

== Harddisk Sensor ==
Es existiert ein [[http://www.uwsg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0610.1/2051.html Kernel Patch]] funktioniert mit 2.6.18.1 Die Harddisk wird auch mit diesem treiber nicht geparkt.

in /proc/driver/mdps/position stehen die aktuellen Positionswerte, mit echo 1 > /proc/driver/mdps/mouse kann eine Mausemulation eingeschaltet werden.

== Intel VT ==
Mit dem neuen Bios ist VT im Bios aktivierbar, KVM scheint zu funktionieren. nach dem einschalten der Option muss man das Notebook ausschalten damit die änderung aktiv wird, das Bios weist nicht auf diese Tatsache hin.

= Powermanagement/ACPI =

==== Speedstep ====
Es gibt im moment keinen Speedstep Support, die Akkulaufzeit ist dementsprechend kurz. Throttling wird unterstützt, es kann eine CPU ausgeschaltet werden, dazu muss im Kernel der CPU Hotplug Support eingeschaltet sein. 
 echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online
Eine grosse Auswirkung auf die Akkulaufzeit ist nicht feststellbar.

==== Suspend ==== 
swsusp und suspend to ram klappen jeweils nur ein mal, beim 2. Versuch wacht das Gerät nicht mehr korrekt auf. Die Probleme treten auch mit suspend2 auf.
