Liebe Datenreisende, Hacker und Geeks aller Art

Zum fünften Mal in Folge findet in diesem Jahr die Chaos Singularity (Cosin)
im Kulturzentrum Bremgarten (KuZeB) im Aargau statt: 
vom 9.-11. Juli 2010. [0]

Der CFP erscheint spät und es steht viel Arbeit an. In wichtigster Hinsicht
soll verhindert werden, dass Auf-/Abbauarbeiten sowie die Betreuung der 
Vortragenden vom Stammpersonal des KuZeB erledigt wird, wie sich das in den 
letzten Jahren negativ entwickelt hat.
Die Organisation der Cosin ist eine offene Plattform, die transparent
funktioniert und wo jede und jeder nach Kräften mithelfen soll.
Es geht darum Verantwortung auf freiwilliger Basis zu übernehmen, um das
Überleben der Cosin auch langfristig zu sichern. Im Chaoswiki besteht
die Möglichkeit sich als Helfer kenntlich zu zeigen und entsprechend seinen
Beitrag zu leisten. [1]

Die Cosin ist eine Veranstaltung, die im Jahr 2006 zum ersten Mal getagt
hat, um die in der Schweiz sich entwickelnde CCC-Bewegung (und Umfeld) einmal 
jährlich zusammen zu bringen und auch Leute aus dem Ausland anzuziehen - als 
Vorbild gilt der Chaos Communication Congress in Berlin. Die Cosin ist nur
wesentlich kleiner und familiärer.

Inhaltlich sind wir froh um Beiträge in Form von z. B.:
* Vorträgen
* Workshops
* Filmvorschlägen (zur Vorführung)
* Diskussionsrunden
* Informationsständen (nicht-kommerziell)

Die Beiträge haben nach Vorbild des Chaos Communication Congress die folgenden 
Kategorien:
* Community (Gruppenspezifisches: Soziales, Organistorisches)
* Culture (nerd-/geek-/hackerkulturelle Angelegenheiten, z. B. 23, 42, Spaghetti-Monster)
* Making (Lötarbeiten und z. B. hands-on-Workshops)
* Hacking (IT-Security, besonders kreative Software-/Hardwarelösungen)
* Science (Mathematisches, Physikalisches, Grundlagenwissenschaftliches, etc.)
* Society (Gesellschafltiche Themen, etwa Datenschutz oder Überwachung)

Die Beiträge können über Pentabarf[2] hochgeladen werden bzw. an
cosin2010{AT}chaostreff.ch geschickt werden. Dabei wären folgende Angaben
sinnvoll:
* Autor
* Titel des Beitrags
* Form des Beitrags
* Länge des Beitrags
* Gewünschter Tag der Ausführung des Beitrags

Einsendeschluss für die Einreichung von Beiträgen ist Ende Juni 2010. Danach
wird der Fahrplan für die Cosin 2010 publiziert. Der letztjährige Fahrplan
ist weiterhin im Netz verfügbar. [3]

Fragen rund um die Organisation können an cosin2010{AT}chaostreff.ch gestellt
werden bzw. auf der öffentlichen Swiss-Chaos-Mailingliste[4] oder im IRC[5]
erfolgen.

Dear data travellers, hackers and geeks of all kinds out there

It is for the fifth time in sequence that Chaos Singularity (Cosin) is
taking place at the cultural center of Bremgarten (KuZeB) in Aargovia, Switzerland,
from July 9 to 11, 2010. [0]

The CFP is already appearing at a late date -- a lot of work has still to be done. It
is important to make clear that we do not want that fundamental tasks like building
up Cosin, giving assistance to the speakers and, at last, rearranging facilities and 
cleaning up the cultural center is done by KuZeB staff. In fact, that is a negative 
development which emerged in the last years and we have to avoid it in order to assure
Cosin to persist in the long-term.
The organizational form Cosin has, is widely open to everyone and is transparent in
its operation -- anyone is thus kindly asked to participate also in organizational
and operational tasks. It is about to take responsibility on a freely basis. You can
indicate your will to help in the Chaoswiki. [1]

Cosin is an event which took place in 2006 for the first time. The idea was to
create a yearly meeting platform for the emerging CCC movement (and surroundings) in 
Switzerland, but also to attract people from foreign countries -- in its conception
it was thought like the Chaos Communication Congress in Berlin, but on a much smaller,
more familiar scale.

We are calling for content in the following type (examples):
* Lectures
* Workshops
* Movie suggestions (to show them)
* Debate/discussion rounds
* Infodesks (non-commercial)

The contributions will be categorized like it is done at the Chaos Communication
Congress:
* Community (Group-specific stuff like social activities, organizational stuff)
* Culture (Cultural things around nerd-/geekism and hacker culture, e. g. 23, 42, FSM)
* Making (Soldering works, hands-on-workshops in general)
* Hacking (IT security, creative solutions with soft-/hardware)
* Science (Maths, physics, fundamental sciences, etc.)
* Society (Societal subjects, e. g. privacy issues or surveillance)

You can contribute via Pentabarf[2] or writing to cosin2010{AT}chaostreff.ch.
Please make at least the following points:
* Author
* Title of the contribution
* Type/form of the contribution
* Length of the contribution
* Preferred day at which you want your contribution to happen

Deadline for contributions is the end of June 2010. We will shortly afterwards
publish the final version of the schedule. Last year's schedule is still
on the net. [3]

Please help to make the fifth Cosin event the biggest and best organized
